Year End Reminders and Notes!

Bus #2 Will Not Run at all on Monday, May 20th. We apologize for this unavoidable inconvenience. Please make alternative transportation plans if your family uses Bus #2. Buses will run normally May 17th, May 21st, May 22nd. Buses will run a morning route only on May 23rd. Thank you for your consistent support of our transportation program.
Please make sure all lunch balances are paid before the last day of school. Check in with the front office to make a payment!
Underwater World Family Swim Hours in the Curiosity Lab Underwater World created by K-5 students in the Curiosity Lab will be open on Thursday from 1:00-7:00 and Friday from 8:00-noon! If you are available to help with the demolition on Monday the 27th from 6-8 please sign up here! Many thanks & look forward to seeing you all!
Watch Where you Step! 8th graders have partnered with Kelly's 2nd grade crew to continue our pollinator habitat expansion! Look out for new tiny plants when you're picking up or dropping off your children. Thank you, Crew!
K-8 Student Led Conference Information Sign up links are live. Crew Leaders are looking forward to having you and your child at the very end of the school year for conferences. Conferences at Anser include the parent or caregiver AND the child. We are grateful for the collaboration and reflection these conferences offer.
Summer ReWild Watering Anser's two ReWild plots at Marianne Williams Park need watering over the summer to keep the young plants thriving. We need families to water each plot and weed as needed. Check out this sign up genius and sign up for a time to help. You'll have the flexibility to designate a time of your choosing during that week to water the plants.

GOOSEFEST 2024!!!

Join us in celebrating 25 years of Anser on campus for a Middle School student driven event. Last day of school fun for all!

Date and Times: Thursday, May 23rd

AMS Crews will attend 1-4pm

K, 1st & 2nd Grade will participate in outdoor activities from 1-2pm

3rd, 4th & 5th Grades will participate in outdoor activities from 2-3pm

Who: Anser crews and families. Staff crew will park off site all day so we will have loads of parking available for families to join! Including families attending 8th Grade Graduation.

Help? Yes, please! We are looking for some loaner canopies and could always use help with clean up! Sign up link.

What to expect?

Live Music- We have some 8th Grade bands that have been practicing with Boise Rock School and are excited and ready to rock! Main Stage music will be 1:30-3:30
Hydration Cafe in the Commons will be open for Middle School Crews exclusively!
Shane Newbill will be on hand with cotton candy, Family Council will have Acme pretzels, and we will have some over treats in the carnvial area!
Carnival fun!
Boise Farmers Market, Boise Rock School and
Side Stage performances!
Face Painting, Tattoos!
Anne will have an onsite mural happening!

There will be no bus service that afternoon, make a plan to join us for some Goosefest fun!

3:30pm Pick up for K-5 Crews will happen on 43rd. If you walk up to get your child please use the doors in Goose Alley. Andrea and Tracy will be there to monitor and help! Sara and Chelsie will be on hand to assist with AMS pick up. Find your AMS kids in The Commons or on the Turf.

Celebrating Celebrations of Learning, so Much Celebrating,

so Much Learning!

3rd Grade Celebrated their Pollinator Expedition by making seed packets to send home with families. They celebrated at the MK Nature Center. It was a great end to a year full of outdoor fieldwork!

4th/5th Grades celebrated their Clean Energy Models by presenting about all the different types of renewal energy. Crew members were so knowledgeable about this expedition!

6th Grade celebrated their SOS (Sixth Grade year of Service) projects and their Art at their Celebration of Learning. They still have a table of action items set up in The Commons. So many admirable projects to learn more about.

7th & 8th Graders highlighted work all over the building! Art, Makers Space projects, Solutionary Projects in Justice, ELA highlights and so much more. It was hard for crews to choose just 3 projects to talk about!

Art and AMS projects are still on display in their hallways, if you have a chance to check out all of their hard work!

Thankful to our Crew Leaders for putting these nights on. And impressed with our crews work this year.

Family Council Voting! It is time to vote for our Family Council representatives for next school year. We have four candidates who have stepped forward to serve on the Family Council. We thank them all for stepping up to lead and support our family Crew!
