Community Connections - Please join the Animal Lovers Club for a Boise Greenbelt cleanup party! We'll meet at Veterans Park play structure and share some hot chocolate and community, then we'll divide into groups to fan out and pick up litter.
Where: Meet at Veterans Memorial Park (930 N. Veterans Memorial Parkway) play structure
When: Saturday, December 3rd 10am-12pm
Who: Our Anser community, hosted by the Animal Lovers Club. Parents, please plan to stay with your child (help pick up trash if you'd like!)
What (to bring): A water bottle, warm layers, and a mug of your own for hot chocolate
Why is picking up trash good for animals? Because trash endangers the wildlife of the Boise River ecosystem, and even ocean animals. Plus, it's good for human health and well being to live in a beautiful, clean environment.
The Animal Lovers Club will supply hot chocolate, disposable gloves, and trash bags. If you have a trash picker, please bring it along!
