Anser Annual Drive Update: We are Crew!

We have raised more than $58,000 as a community.

We feel so much gratitude for our community's remarkable support. Thank you to our Board, our community, grandparents, and alumni for their incredible generosity!

Exciting news! We are thrilled to share that we are bringing back the opportunity to secure a front row parking spot in the coveted 42nd lot through our Annual Drive. Contributions of $250 or more, including pledges of $25/month will be entered to win!

Giving Tuesday is over but our commitment to our goals continues. We were so inspired by the sheer volume of donors yesterday. We love to see our goal of 100% participation in giving from families getting higher each and every day. Together we can achieve our overall goal of $150K. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Anser's Holiday Themed Community Experiences:

2nd Holiday Bus Opportunity Available Now!

❄️Celebrate the winter season with two holiday-themed community experiences! ❄️

🚌 December 14th, 6pm-8pm - Join other Anser families and friends for a Festive Lights Bus Tour! This family friendly event includes hot chocolate, cookies and an hour long bus tour of the best holiday lights in Boise. Hurry, get your tickets here! TICKETS TO THE FIRST BUS HAVE OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT! But our wonderful transportation team has graciously offered to drive a second bus! We have an additional 48 seats available... ACT NOW! December 19th, 6-9pm - The Anser “kids exclusive” Holiday Movie Night is back! Drop your student(s) off at Anser gymnasium for a night of crafting, snacking and movie watching, featuring "The Grinch" by Dr. Seuss. Scholastic Book Fair is BACK! Next week December 4th - 8th The Book Fair will be open limited hours in the mulitpurpose room.

Each morning Monday - Friday from 8-9:30am

Family Council will host on Wednesday morning from 8-9:30am, thank you Family Council!

After hours book fair time will be December 4th from 4-6pm and December 7th from 4-6pm.

Spotlight on EL Education! We have a group of teachers in Denver right now at the National EL Education Conference and while we wait for their report back... Sarah Higgins, one of our AMS Crew Leaders recently participated in the Fulbright Hays Program at Boise State!

Sarah recently presented her project poster for her Fulbright Hays Program. She spent the month of June in Taichung, Taiwan researching and gathering materials for her World Studies Expedition focused on East Asian Cultures. She explained to her students that this was her version of field work! She was immersed in history and tradition and toured the island, hoping to bring back some of the wonder of Taiwan's culture to Anser students in Idaho. Sarah's goal is to spark curiosity for middle school students as they explore themes of identity, colonization, and globalization.

Anser Middle School Ski & Snowboard Team - Registration is now open for 6th-8th graders to join Anser Middle School's Ski & Snowboard Team! This is an experience rooted in fun and adventure. There are six weekly races on Saturdays in January and February, optional family practice nights on Thursdays, a special Friday afternoon race, bbqs, helmet decorating contests, and more. We are thrilled to announce the opportunity to get skis and snowboards waxed and ready ahead of the season here on Anser's campus. December 4th from 4-5:30pm! $10 and all proceeds benefit the Anser ski team! Scholastic Book Fair will be open and we will have hot cocoa and tea on hand while you wait!

Family Council and the Scholastic Book Fair! Family Council is offering 2 days of shopping. Join Family Council representative on Monday December 4th from 4:00-6:00pm and Wednesday December 6th in the Mulitpurpose Room from 8:00-9:30am they will have coffee and tea on hand on Wednesday morning!

Transportation Update Please note, starting November 27th if a student is riding the bus with a friend and does not have one of these bus passes they will not be permitted to ride.

Having a bus pass helps us track students and ensure they arrive safely at their intended destination.

Bus passes are available at the front office or online. Front office staff can help fill one out for you over the phone but only a parent can call in for their own child.

Thank you to our transportation team and their diligent efforts to keep students safe!

Everwild Forest School recieved the Whittenberger Grant that will allow them to provide a free, based first on eligibility, aftershool program in the Spring!

The afterschool program will go from March 25, 2024 to May 24, 2024, for a total of 9 weeks. It will be free of cost to the families and we will be providing daily snacks and loaner gear for kids who need it.

Eligibility for the free afterschool program is based on total household income and size in the month the application is filled out.
