Spotlight on EL Education! Anser's first Art Exhibition was a hit. The art the 7/8 1st trimester students created was amazing. It's on display through tomorrow, please take a moment to check it out!

Adventure comes in many forms. For AMS crews Adventure last Friday was playing ultimate frisbee against a group of teachers, a couple of board members and some parents. Tanya, our Urban PE Lab Leader said it best, "These types of adventures build an amazing connection between staff, students, and parents.  This is why it's important and special." The teachers might have won but everyone had fun.

We are crew! Each 2nd grade crew spent an entire day up at Bogus recently! They particpated in a scavenger hunt using a compass. They learned how to build a fire, put it out and different ways to fuel it. Then after lunch they spent time working together to build some epic shelters. It was an exhausting and exhilarating day up on the mountain!

A Note from Siler and Julia, Anser's School Social Worker and K-5 Counselor We have partnered with St. Vincent de Paul to help out some of our families with Thanksgiving Food Baskets this year. If you would like to contribute by donating food, donating money, or donating your time, please take look at this flyer Thank you!

Transportation Update Please note, starting November 27th if a student is riding the bus with a friend and does not have one of these bus passes they will not be permitted to ride.

Having a bus pass helps us track students and ensure they arrive safely at their intended destination.

Bus passes are available at the front office or online. Front office staff can help fill one out for you over the phone but only a parent can call in for their own child.

Thank you to our transportation team and their diligent efforts to keep students safe!

ACHD Feedback Requested The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is considering constructing an enhanced crossing at Chinden Boulevard and 43rd Street. This proposed crossing would be one aspect of a broader suite of projects intended to improve safety for people walking and biking in the area. To gain a better understanding of community needs and interest, ACHD is conducting a survey of the potential users of this crossing and is especially interested in potential use by people affiliated with the Anser Charter School. Thank you for taking the time to help us plan for safer walking and biking in Garden City! We ask that you complete the survey by the end of next week (November 17th).
